Air conditioning equipment

There are many air conditioning brands on the market, so which one should you choose?

The three leading air conditioning manufactures, commonly referred to as the "three kings", are Fujitsu, Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric. These three manufactures will offer the best quality, reliability, efficiency and quietest air conditioning you can buy. And when regularly maintained, can last up to 15-years +

Other companies such as LG, Samsung, Midea and Panasonic which also make other electrical goods, are generally all made in the same factory and rebadged. These are of much lower quality and are classed as disposable units when faulty, thus requiring an entire new air conditioner.

Molesey Air Conditioning deal with all leading brands though highly recommends

Fujitsu Air Conditioners, "Australia's Favourite Air".

Fujitsu has been one of the world's leading air conditioning manufactures

since 1971 and are renowned for their High Energy Efficient, Silent Operation and Sleek Compact Designs.

So what type of air conditioner is best for you?

With many of air conditioning brands offering different types of units to suit various applications, which type of air conditioner is best suited to you?

Regardless of the brand or type of air conditioner, they will all offer the same futures:

Cooling, Heating, Auto, Dehumidify and Recirculation

The main difference is the type of air conditioner. The most common type of air conditioner is the split system which consists of one or more indoor units connected to an outdoor unit via refrigerant pipes and electrical cables.

Indoor units (Evaporator)

These are available in several different styles,

Wall mounted, Floor mounted, Ceiling mounted or even Concealed Ducted units within a void or ceiling space. These units are available in different capacity’s depending on application and are designed to achieve the same results.

Your application will determine the style of unit best suited.

If you have available wall space, then wall mounted units are by far the most cost-efficient option and are ideal for single rooms. Floor mounted units are most commonly installed in loft conversions due to restricted head hight and low walls.

And concealed ducted units are the most desirable due to the discreet grilles and diffusers though are the most expensive option out of the three due to the installation.

Outdoor units (Condensor)

These are available in two different styles, a single split system or a multi split system.

The single split system is the most cost-efficient way to provide heating and cooling. This consists of one indoor and outdoor unit and are mass produced on a huge scale, therefore making them very affordable especially for homes.

Multi split systems are a great way to heat or cool more than one room and where outdoor space is limited. Depending on brand, you can have up to ten indoor units connected to only one outdoor unit.
